Seeing as I'm still fairly new to Gyaru fashion I''ve been experimenting with different looks that I like and seeing which I like best and which is easiest to pull off. Right now I'm leaning more towards ero-kawaii, MA*RS style, I'm so into black x pink right now it's not even funny!
But yesterday I went to get my nails done and decided to try out rock-gal style, I met up with the local lolita community in the city (they were having a meet) and it was a big hit! I hope you gals like it too~

I tried to do my make up and hair as a gyaru again. But this time I also tried it with straight hair, because I saw there are also straight haired gyaru's.
What do you girls prefer? Curls or straight hair? ^__^ Because I also really like straight hair, but can I still be gyaru then..?
What do you all think that suits me better, curls or straight hair? :3
Also I really need advice on how to do my hair : ) So I hope you could help me out!

I will not be able to DL these lovely magazines for a few weeks (I can't wait for my older brother to go back to college--I can't even go on youtube because it 'lags' him. So I bought this off of RueLaLa.com the other week:
It went on really smoothly in the recommended 2 coats. The color is more vibrant than in the picture (which I loved). It dries pretty quickly, but it has a slightly different odor to it than other nail polishes (likely due to the lack of chemicals it advertises and boasts about). The one thing I didn't like was that it seemed to have more of a matte finish than other nail polishes (like O.P.I.), but this was quickly remedied by applying my favorite top coat... might not be a negative if you like matte finished polish.
Overall, I am really excited. I also bought two more colors: mariner (an aqua-green) and a gold taupe... anxious to try them out next time! |
